Nirankar ey karta jag da jis ghat vich ghar karda ey;
Maut ohda kujh kar na sakke dharmraj vi darda ey.
Virla virla satgur kolo eh amrat ras peenda ey;
Jugan jugan tak jeenda ey oh kadi na murda theenda ey.
Atthe pehar jo sachche dil naal har har har hi karda ey;
Aap khalo ke us di thante aan hazri bharda ey.
Maya de naal moh na rakkhe dil nun na lalchaye jo;
Man vich rakhe aas hari di rab te aas lagaye jo.
Jiddan ghup hanere andar Deepak nooro nor kare;
Kahe avtar eh satgur data bharam bhulekhe door kare.

The Formless One-Nirankar is the creator of the universe, whichever physical frame He dwells in;
Death cannot harm him and even the Angel of Death is scared of him.
Only a rare few sip this divine nectar from the True Master;
Such an enlightened person lives for all ages and becomes immortal.
The one who remembers God from the core of his heart all the time;
God Himself stands in his place and attends to his duty.
Such a person has no attachment with material objects and his heart is free from greed;
He pins all his hopes on God and reposes full faith in Him.
Just as the lamp provides full light in utter darkness;
Avtar says, likewise, the benevolent True Master removes all the doubts and delusions.
